Amanda’s silver and enamelled jewellery is inspired by the natural world, the local land and seascapes around Seaford, where she now lives and works. She completed her training at the University of Brighton in 1995 with a BA(hons) in Metal & Ceramics.
The patterns, textures and colours of the local shingle and pebble coastline and surrounding countryside inform her work, which includes techniques such as enamelling, etching, chasing and engraving, all of which are hand fabricated.
Recent commissions include the Medal of Office for the Chairman of the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce.
Amanda is a member of The Sussex Guild of Designers and Makers, Association of Contemporary Jewellers and the Guild of Enamellers. Her work is exhibited at various galleries nationally.
