Angela Fung has always been drawn to movement, the interaction between jewellery and wearer. Her kinetic jewellery which combines industrial and precious materials including titanium, gold and semi precious stones, uses cutting edge technology such as laser cutting, wire eroding and rapid prototyping and has won her many design awards.
Born in Mozambique, educated in Macau and England, Angela studied the piano at the Royal College of Music in London. When injury prevented her from studying music, she was determined to continue in a field in which she could use her hands for creative ends and began making jewellery, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in jewellery design at the London Metropolitan University.
