Liz Schwarz trained as an actor at Trinity College Dublin before retraining in precious metals with Cormac Cuffe also in Dublin. She moved to Brighton in 2006 to develop her jewellery & ceramic work.
Water, earth and debris are the essential areas from which her work is inspired. Mix this with her theatrical background and a piece of Liz Schwarz art is formed.
Her base metal is Sterling silver, but she also works in gold. Other important components of her work are resin, pearl, Murano glass (Venice), leather, Swarovski crystal and found objects.
Ceramic jewellery holders, & ceramic artpieces, as well as art/functional garden ceramics complete the Liz Schwarz body of work.
