Platinum Engagement Ring with Sapphire and Diamonds

This stunning platinum, sapphire and diamond engagement ring is designed and handmade by Julian Stephens. A unique oval blue Ceylon sapphire weighing 1.29ct, is beautifully set into cool platinum in the most unusual, elegant setting which emphasises its vibrant blue hue. The cool hues of sapphire and platinum are accentuated by the frosting effect of 24 pavé set diamonds that embellish the shoulders. There are 11 x 1mm round diamonds and 1 x 1.5mm diamonds on each shoulder. The shank continues around the ring with a contrasting polish finish. This is a truly breathtaking ring, and would look beautiful next to either a plain court wedding band, or a wedding band enhanced by flush or pavé set diamonds.
