Sterling silver and obsidian pendant with gold embellishment

This sterling silver and onyx pendant is handmade by designer jeweller Madeleine Blaine. Strongly influenced by her time in Mexico, where she first learned the techniques which influenced the values inherent in her jewellery, each gemstone is individually selected for its quality or uniqueness, and the jewel is then built around it to show off the stone to its maximum advantage. This pendant features an obscure pear-shaped onyx perfectly offset by warm gold detailing.
