Sterling Silver Hand Raised Bowl

This contemporary silver bowl is hand crafted by Goldsmith Julian Stephens. Traditional silversmithing techniques have been applied by 'hand raising' the vessel from a flat sheet of silver, using specialist silversmithing hammers. Julian's skill and expertise in this discipline is evident throughout all his silverware, creating exquisite pieces that balance master craftsmanship with functional design to perfection. The bowl features two contrasting surface finishes, where the underside has a smooth high polish finish, and the upper section from the widest point up, has a hammered effect. The bowl measures approx 5.3cm high by 8.8cm at it's widest point.
